Masahiko Komoda, Managing Director, says the award recognises Icom (Australia)’s achievements in the research and development of IP501H the LTE Transceiver.

“Icom (Australia) has worked hard to bring into the Australian market the IP501H and winning the 2018 ABA Product Innovation Award is a reinforcement of the hard work and commitment our team has put into this product. For consumers after communications the LTE Transceiver is the next generation solution they are looking for. This solution offers the consumer a secure backbone system based in Australia and is able to overcome traditional radio obstacles of distance and environmental barriers. We look forward to growing the LTE market in Australia.”

The IP501H LTE Transceiver enables secure two-way communication with the ease and comfort of PTT (Push-To-Talk) operation and nationwide coverage over a 4G (LTE) and 3G network.

“With technology rapidly evolving, it is essential that organisations remain ahead of the curve by continuously exploring and embracing new technologies and investing in the education, training and development of their workforce in order remain competitive,” Australian Business Awards, Program Director, Tara Johnston said.
